Remember that woman who said that she would not date my friend because she did not know him well enough and was looking to marry the next man she dated? Well, she lied.
That night she tweeted from an ice cream shop that she saw a really cute guy and wanted him to ask her out.
This kind of mixed signals is what baffles me about women. If she did not want to date him, then fine. She should have said so. Her actions have resulted in me not wanting to fix her up ever, even if she asks me to specifically put in a good word. It also hurt my male friend. She also came across as looking incredibly shallow and untrustworthy.
Speak plainly and the fall out will not be anywhere near what you think it will be. We are strong, we can take it.
