I recently read an advice column on dating faux pas and it included two pieces of advice on men dealing with women being women. I want them address them separately, so here is the first one.
The embarrassment was simple and unilateral. Did the advise giver have to bash male kind in addressing how to recover from the misstep? No.
The story is pretty straightforward. A woman clogged the toilet at the home of her paramour and did not know how to unclog it. The answer is simple either look it up on your smart phone, call someone, or simply tell him.
The advisor made the same suggestions except that she added something about men putting women on a pedestal and in denial about women having bodily functions. Seriously!? Men fully realize this, however we prefer that you follow the accepted rules of decorum and not discuss them.
