While the analytics show that a lot of people visit my blog, I do not get a lot of comments. I want comments. I realize some of you may not feel comfortable offering a comment despite your desire to do so. I ask that you give it a try. You can always ask me to take it down or not post it. And I think that for the most part I am accepting of that. The exception would be if it is a wonderful comment that really illustrates what I am looking for in a comment. However, at the end of the day I am a servant to my readers, so I will take down comments that the author asks be taken down.
They are monitored in the sense that they are not available for people to freely post an unedited comment and/or comment on someone else's comments. I did that on purpose to prevent spammers and also to prevent people from getting off topic.
Ideally, I would like 30 to 60 comments per post. When you get more comments than that on one subject, it gets too difficult to handle as a reader and as the person who manages this.
To make a long story short. Post a comment. If you do not like how your comment looks or feel silly for posting it, I will take it down. The comments are monitored to insure that there is no spam or hate speech. Dissenting comments welcome.
