The Right And Wrong Way To Tell A Potential Suitor You Might Be Lara Croft

I came across two distinctly different online dating profiles that conveyed the same information, that the woman was a firearms enthusiast, in VERY different ways.

The first one, I came across had every answer "My gun"

What do people notice first about you: "My gun"
What is something you cannot live without: "My gun"
What is something you are thankful for: "My gun"
What is something you wish more people would notice about you: "My gun"
Anything you care to disclose about yourself: "I own a gun and I enjoy firing it... often"

Clearly this woman needed to be matched up with a member of a militia.  I could tell you nothing else about her profile than she owned a gun and it was very important to her.

The second woman mentioned in her leisure activities that she owns two guns and enjoys going out to the range.

Both women conveyed the same information, however one of them did so in a manner that does not scare off men.  Firearms ownership is a big deal.  Most people are on one side of the issue or the other, so it is good to lay that out front and center if it is a big part of your life.
