If as you communicate with a man through online dating, or even face-to-face actual dating, and he states that he is looking for something that you clearly are not, then it is time to walk away. Too many times, I have been very upfront with what I am looking for in a woman and yet she still tries to pursue a relationship despite the fact that she knows that she does not fit the bill.

She understood and was bittersweetly happy that I did not waste her time once I realized this was a big difference.
