I never proclaim to speak for all men. I cannot as I am only one man. I can speak in generalities; what is true for most men. Anytime that I have heard a statement begin with "All men..." it generally started with a woman. That is to say that any statement like that that I hear historically was first uttered by a woman.
I have nothing against women, mind you. It is just that women cannot speak for men. It is one of the reasons that I started this, was that the only ones talking about men to women were other women. I no more understand women, than most women understand men. And just because a woman can understand one man does mean that she understands us all.
These "all men..." statements are bought into by some men. Some men sit there and realize that that does not apply to them. They look at themselves and say "No, that is not me."
