I read an opinion piece that stated, in its essence, that all men were pigs. That men only acted nice in order to lower your defenses and get you into bed. There are, without doubt, guys out there that do put on an act in order to get women into bed. I would say for the most part that those nice men are just as they appear.
How do you know the difference?
Only time will tell. Do not worry; it does not take that long. The classic signs present themselves sooner or later. If he plies you with alcohol, then he is not a nice guy. If he wants to go back to your place, not a nice guy. You get the idea.
