The Special Rules

Men hate the special rules that come with women defining the relationship.

1. Platonic relationships are only platonic if the woman says that they are.
2. Romantic relationships are only romantic if the woman says that they are.
   
3. If the man disagrees with the unilateral decision, his only recourse is to end the relationship.
4. Men cannot remain friends with the woman should he end the relationship (see rule 1)

The cool thing is that there has to be some basis, however small, in order for a woman to change the definition of the relationship. A woman cannot run up to a complete stranger and declare that they are in a relationship.
