While some women need their men to assure them that the other women in their lives are not threats, men need to determine this about the men in your life for themselves. Never tell a man that a co-worker or friend is not a threat. Men need to see it for themselves. Some men can take your word for it, but one mis-diagnosis and it all goes out the window.
It is not that he does not trust you. It is that he does not trust other men. By the same token, a real man will accept your need to confirm his assurances about other women in his life.
