I was watching television show and these women had written a book telling women how to straighten out their men. The women had kicked out their husbands for a year until the decided to fly right. I was surprised to hear that the men stayed around. Apparently, they changed and were allowed to return home.
I, like most men, would not stand for this. If you kick us out of a shared dwelling, you best have the means to solely maintain that dwelling. That would be the end of things.
These women recommended to a woman who was having problems with her husband of one month that if he does not change to leave him to his own devices. His problem that he was a slob and she was sick of his mess. Leaving him to his own devices would solve nothing.
She should have laid down the law before they got married. She may not have had the full picture when they were engaged, but some of this should not have come as shock to him. The guy just needed to grow up and start acting like an adult. He just needed a male figure that he respected tell him to grow up and give a push in the right direction.
Men also do not respond well to strange women telling them how to live their lives.
