Women have tried for years to try and change the men they are with. Why would you want to change the man that you are with? You change the man, you change what you liked about him in the first place.
Men are not going to change unless it is something that they really want to and in order for that to happen it has to be their choices not your will. Without internal motivation men will never change. That is true of anyone regardless of gender.
If you just pick a good man from the start then there is no need to change him.
